Terms of Use

1. Service description

ContactSearch.ai (the "Service") is a professional contact search platform operated by ContactSearch.ai, a subsidiary brand of RecruiterPM, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). The Service provides users with access to a database of professional profiles, including contact information, work history, and related professional data, sourced from third-party data providers and our own ingestion processes.

By accessing or using the Service, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account registration and approval

Use of the Service requires registration of an account. We reserve the right to approve, deny, or suspend any account at our sole discretion. Approval is typically completed within one business day but may be delayed if additional verification is required.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You specifically agree NOT to:

  • Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the Service beyond what is permitted by your subscription
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize data obtained from the Service to third parties
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications in violation of CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, CASL, or any other applicable communications or data-protection law
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, discriminate against, or otherwise harm any individual
  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Service's security or access-control mechanisms
  • Use the Service in violation of any law of the jurisdiction(s) in which you operate or in which the data subjects reside

4. Credit purchases and refunds

The Service operates on a credit-based pricing model. Credits may be purchased on a pay-as-you-go or annual basis as described on our Pricing page. By purchasing credits, you agree to the following:

  • Non-refundable. Credits are non-refundable once purchased.
  • 30-day expiration. Credits are valid for 30 days from the date of deposit, regardless of plan (pay-as-you-go, annual, or admin grant). Each purchase or grant creates its own 30-day batch. Consumption is FIFO — the batch closest to expiring is consumed first. Expired credits are forfeited and not refundable.
  • Premium lookups. Premium mobile lookups are pay-on-success — you are charged only when a number is successfully retrieved.
  • Disputed charges. If you believe a charge is in error, contact us at support@contactsearch.ai within 30 days of the charge date.
  • Pricing changes. We may modify pricing at any time. Existing unused credits retain their original value; future purchases use then-current pricing.

5. Data usage and privacy

Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described therein.

You are responsible for handling any personal data you obtain through the Service in compliance with applicable data-protection laws, including the GDPR, CCPA, and any other applicable regulations in jurisdictions where the data subjects reside.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, design, content, and underlying database structure, is the property of RecruiterPM, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription period.

Data obtained through legitimate use of the Service may be used by you for your own internal recruiting, sales, or research purposes. It may not be sold, sublicensed, or distributed to third parties.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with various third-party service providers, including a payment processor (for billing), an AI processor (for natural-language query parsing), professional-profile data aggregators (for the underlying contact database), a premium mobile-data provider (for premium lookups), and a transactional email provider (for system notifications). Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RecruiterPM, Inc., its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of data. We do not guarantee that any specific contact information is current, accurate, or available.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RecruiterPM, Inc., its affiliates, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any conduct we determine to be harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and any unused credits are forfeited.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@contactsearch.ai. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RecruiterPM, Inc. with respect to the Service.
